Rev Graham Langley

Graham came to New Zealand from South Africa in 1989 to be Vicar of the Balclutha Anglican Parish, where he and his wife Rose served until his retirement in early 2013. He now a voluntary assistant chaplain at the Otago Corrections Facility, having begun visiting there about 9 years ago.  Rose is also a prison volunteer.

Graham has a longing to see people deepening their relationship with Jesus, and seeking to live grace-filled lives which reflect the love of Jesus in honest and authentic ways.   Rose and Graham also train people in the region to be facilitators for Prepare-Enrich relationship resources and, during their parish ministry, were regional Alpha advisers and involved in Anglican Renewal and New Wine ministries.

Graham continues his lifelong interest in building and flying model aeroplanes and woodwork, as well as music, history and sport.  Rose enjoys being in a local social choir and book club.

They have two adult sons, one in Perth, the other, newly-married, in Dunedin.  Graham and Rose are looking forward to spending time with St Matt’s when Stu and Mary are on sabbatical in the USA, so come and have a chat to them after the service.
